I asked Claude with web search and Gemini without search 22 questions about restaurants in Tashkent, in Russian, Uzbek and English, without naming JoyTop. It is not named in a single answer: Claude sends people to 2GIS, Yandex Maps, Afisha.uz and TripAdvisor.
Asked by name, Claude calls JoyTop “a classifieds platform like OLX”: when it searched for JoyTop, the only relevant result was a classifieds app with the same name. Any AI that searches is likely to inherit that confusion.
